Hello everyone I’m fairly new to this and recently bought a Tacoma. So far I have only installed the Eibach Pro Truck Stage 1 Lift with a 1” block.

I went on some fire roads to try it out and when I got back I noticed some squeaking sounds coming from the rear end. Has anyone ever experienced this? Is it maybe just dirt in the leaf springs or something? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Again, I’m new to this but not sure if I should be worried about it since I’m only at 4K miles.

When your leaf springs get dusty the plastic anti-friction pads between the leaves can start squeaking. It’s super annoying if you have a bad case of it. The problem can be mostly solved by cleaning you leaf springs with a garden hose or pressure washer. It helps if you jack up the rear end of the truck by the frame so the wheels droop and you can clean between the leaves.

If this does not resolve your issue, spraying some dry graphite lube between the leaves can help.

My 2018 year springs had a squeeking issue which was fixed on a tsb. Maybe the same?

My 7-week old Deavers just started squeaking. Seems to be a universal leaf spring malady

Had the same after a 2 inch block lift on my '21 on the driver's side. I used some silicone spray in the bushings and between the leafs and it went away. I'm sure it'll be back soon.

2017 w/ 1.5" block and add-a-leaf. I hoping to fix mine soon by swapping out the rear suspension with coils and lower control arms, but they'll be installed on a Gladiator
