O.K. I have owned about 6 different Toyotas in my life and this is my 3rd truck. I am starting to think they don't make these things like they used to. I bought a new 08 last year, " tacoma SR5 4 wheel with tow lots of extras and all ready i am hearing noises out of the back end I didn't here on my old 2000. Now I am not a huge guy, about 185 and when I get out of my truck it squeaks like I just took off 500 pounds. I can push down on the back bumper and it squeaks like an old lady. I am starting to believe that there are some serious issues with the suspension on this truck even thou Toyota claime that they have resolved these problems. Anybody else experiencing this same thing? I also have some real surging in the transmission when turning and going down hill. I gotta say I am a little bit more than dissapointed with the Toyota truck that I have been raving about for the last 20 years. Would be very inerested in hearing back from everyone and finding out if it is just my truck or if this is a trend.
    Thanks,
    John

I had this issue with mine, it really isn't a big deal at all. The rear leaf springs are squeaking most likely because they are dirty, you just need to clean them and lube them.
