Squeaking noise when I press my gas pedal

    So this just started happening a couple of days ago. Whenever I pres my gas pedal about half way down it squeaks. I shutoff my truck and pushed the gas pedal with my hand and it doesn’t make the squeaking noise... what do you guys think is causing the squeaking? It is kinda driving me insane.

    It probably has more to do with the angle your foot depresses the pedal and the angle you are pressing with your hand.

    A little lube can go a long way as stated above.
