Hey so my serpentine belt snapped on me and I replaced the belt . But after I replaced the belt i started to get a cherping/squealing nosie when I'd start the truck and while I was driving. Sounds like upper idler pulley was going out so I replaced it . But I'm still getting the squealing nosie and I can't locate where its coming from. Any ideas? My ps pump pulley has some front to back play but idk if it's going out or not. I had a video but I can't upload it

Maybe check belt tension and tighten if necessary?

If you drip some water on the belt, does the squeaking stop temporarily?

Are you sure the new belt is the correct part number and length? If it didn't squeak with the old belt I'd try another brand.

Why would rain make a difference? It shouldn't be raining on your engine.

Spraying a serp belt with any belt dressing will end that belt. Is it chirping or squealing?

2 big questions as replacing an engine belt is not like replacing a light bulb
1 did you replace the belt with an oem or cheap out with aftermarket
2 not to insult but do/did you know how to properly install with correct tension
