Stock the way god made her. (FOR NOW)
I own a 2006 Pre-runner with no performance mods done yet. I have had some problems with my alignment but, it never was terrible so I ignored it for about a year (first mistake I know). Now in the past couple of months I have a squeaking that used to be only when I was accelerating hard but, now is present when I’m taking off until i reach 25 or 30mph. I've revved my engine when I’m parked and it doesn’t make the sound.

    How screwed am i?

It could be your U-joints. This happened to me.

It might just be the suspension and the reason you prob are only hearing it to 30mph might just be the road noise drowning it out. I have a 2009 and the rear suspension squeaks like all holy hell.

get in the bed and jump up and down. Make sure to do this when everyone is watching, and make as much noise as possible.

It's probably your leaf springs squeeking.

    I'm with Viet2100 on this.
U joints when bad will squeak with each rotation of the drive shaft. Typically as the vehicle speeds up it will eventually stop. If this is the squeak then better get them replaced before you drop a shaft and cause some even greater damage.

New U Joints would fix the bad ujoints issue.

Is there a rhythm to the sound or does it stay consistent??

This is why i love tacoma world... tons of nice people ready to help!

it is rhythmic and my leaf springs squeak like holy hell too. my next question: how do i resolve this or should i just wait it out because i love my truck only want to do whats best for it.

I scheduled to have the alignment taken care of this week.
