Squeaking

Had some loud squeaking coming from front end going over bumps mostly on my 22’
Took it to dealer and they said it was front cab mount bushings. Replaced under warranty. Fixed the problem. Truck has 25k miles. Said it wasn’t exactly centered and wore bushings out. Just a heads up for anyone that might be experiencing the same thing

 

So they covered it under warranty? Glad to hear that! It sounds like a common problem with many Tacoma’s. Sure would think there would be a recall on that item. So how many miles did you have when they replaced them?

 

I just replaced the front body mount bushings today on my 2015 for that annoying squeak. 83k miles and 9 years they lasted. Luckier than most it seems.

 

I need replacement parts for my 2020 Taco with 50000 miles but I’m hitting a roadblock finding parts. I can’t find replacement parts for anything past a 2018. The SQUEAK is annoying!

 

Sorry for late reply, 23k miles and they covered it under warranty, also gave some me new floor mats since one of them was curling up

 

Hopefully your new mounts last longer than 23k this time around. Hopefully you get a bunch of miles out of those new floor mats as well.
