My actual brake pedal assembly squeaks every time you press and release it. I have hosed down all pivot points, the spring and around the portion of the assembly going into the fire wall with liquid wrench, WD40 lithium grease, motul motorcycle chain lube, deep creep lube.........I can keep naming products but nothing helps. The squeak is inside the cab and the brakes work fine other than that.

Do I need to replace a bushing that fails? Or do I need to replace the entire assembly?

I had the same problem years ago on a clapped out Mustang. Did all the things you are. Finally dropped the assembly, you gotta be careful with springs, linkage. The bushing was worn completely thru. I was hearing metal against metal. Why lube never migrated is beyond me. Hopefully the lube will migrate before you have to tear apart. Ford only had plastic bushings, I wanted a nice polished stainless steel so wear out would not happen again, no luck. If yours is a stick shift replace both clutch and brake bushings.

I had a similar issue. Every time i pressed brakes a spring noise would be very noticeable. Called Toyota they said it was common got the same message from others. Some said check the grease at the top of the spring. I found out it was a broken spring inside the master cylinder! Replaced the master cylinder, no more noise.

    Update

My master cylinder was failing and the squeek was the actual piston in the master cylinder assembly. The pedal wasn't the issue

Glad to hear you got it fixed. It drove me crazy. Sounds like it did the same to you if not more so!
