So I went to the dealer to get 2 problems solved.

TSB #TC004-06 JUN 06 M/T - Clutch Pedal Squeaking Noise

    and

    TSB SU006-007 addresses bottoming-out problem.

They had the vehicle for a day and they told me that the rear leaf springs will not be in stock until the 22nd:rolleyes:

They never noticed any clutch pedal noise either:rolleyes:

Tell me if you can hear it!:

Now, I only have 2800km left before the warranty expires...this is going to be close.

I got the squeaking clutch fixed in 2006 and it took them a year to get my new clutch assembly adjusted correctly. First they greased the original, but the squeak returned, then they replaced the assembly but installed it incorrectly. Installed another assembly and installed it wrong....had to get Toyota Corp Techs work through it with the dealership and now its fine.

Just got the replacement leaf springs done last week and what a difference...no more rattles or squeaks and rides much better.

Same day....I asked about it when they were fixing my clutch and they did it at the same time. I guess I got lucky with the springs.....Clutch took forever though....

I would think that since you have brought it to their attention before the warranty expired, and got the ball rolling on it, then it could take 3 months to come in, and it would still be taken care of. Afterall, it is not your fault or problem that your dealer didn't have to parts. If that were the case then every dealership would drag their feet on a problem untill the warranty expired, and then tell the customer tough luck.

You're good, you're covered. Don't worry about it.
