Disc Brake Grease on all the pivot points is hands down the best way to resolve it.

I had a loud squeak from the outside of the truck every time I pressed or depressed the clutch pedal.

I followed these instructions and fixed the issue in about 30 seconds - https://www.customtacos.com/forum/128-2005/97704-squeaky-clutch-still-problem.html

    Clutch.jpg

This picture was taken from www.customTacos.com, but I added the red arrows to show what I did. This picture is of the clutch pedal assembly from under the drivers side dash. I hand-turned the silver piece counterclockwise about a quarter turn and the squeak went away right away.

Bumping an old thread since I believe this is my issue but I want to clarify:

This squeak, this is the squeak that is present rolling down the road when the clutch is engaged, but when you press the pedal and disengage the clutch, the squeak stops. And then when you release the pedal to reengage the clutch, is squeaks more.

Is the same issue everyone here is talking about?

No. This thread is about a squeak for the clutch pedal itself while it is moving.

The type of sound you are describing is usually the throw out bearing getting unhappy. You should check the free play and that the fork is not loading the bearing when off the clutch.

I have had this issue for a few years. Have brought it up with my dealership when in for service and the Tech “couldn’t find any issue or squeak”, even though it was present before and after. Ended up bringing in three different times, and mentioned the TSB, all with the “we didn’t find anything”. I guess I’ll try the disc brake squeak?

Here is the tsb . The TSB goes straight through to 2019 . If you are going to the stealership for anything else , I would highly suggest adding this to your appointment . There is about 1000 bucks worth of new parts including a nice upgraded metal master cylinder to improve clutch performance .
If you ever go to a good transmission shop to get a clutch installed in the future , they will be checking to see if the latest upgrades were done to your truck .
Get the stealership to install it while you are under warranty and save some cash $$$$$

I would like to have the stealership replace my clutch master and all that but I did the accumulator delete mod. What do yall think would happen if they began to do that TSB to my truck and saw the accumulator missing?

I'm right below ~60k and since the disc brake lub fix, my clutch has been quiet.

How much improvement does the tsb bring to the clutch? Taking the accumulator off was a bitch so I know it'd be a bitch putting it back on.

Mine started squeaking last summer when it got hot. As many others have said, disc brake lubes seems to solve the problem. Interested to see if I have to reapply this coming summer.

Has anyone heard of a fix for the slow clutch pedal in cold weather? Gets stiffer and slower to return the colder it is outside if it sits for more than a few hours. It does get better as the truck heats up but thought I'd ask just incase.

I've never had the problem, but folks say that the ADM helps a bit. It is worth it to do regardless.
