I did a search but all the other squeaky clutchs where on newer models. Mine is a 97 and the squeak seems to go away after the truck has warmed up. There is a big spring under there i tired some WD40 but that didn't help it's really hard to see under there.

    Any suggestions?

I have the same thing, I have noticed that it only squeaks when its cold. I am thinkin of tryin some graphite on the rod that goes through the firewall.

I dont think there is a TSB for the first gens but I could be wrong. hit it with some lithium grease. that stuff works wonders on everything
