Squeaky HVAC Fan + Warranty Issues?

Hi all,
Just wondering what you would do in my situation.... I, as probably everyone on this fourm, had a squeaky HVAC fan replaced under warranty around 20000 miles on my 2010 DC.... Fast foward to 50000 miles, a couple years later, and it is doing it again... Called the dealership, said it is no longer covered?? If I have a history of this issue, shouldn't it be covered 30000 miles later? Not a huge deal, worst comes to worst I will pull the thing apart and lube the bearing, but still, is it worth pursuing?

 

OEM replacement parts are usually only warrantied for 1 year/unlimited mileage. It's stupid, you'd think that they would be covered under the balance of the factory warranty... You should still have a little left, no?
Your dealership should at least meet you halfway!

 

You are outside of the 36 month or 36K miles ( whichever comes first ) warranty.

No it is no longer covered.

No he is at 50,000 miles. Warranty is 36K Miles or 36 Months whichever is first.

 

since your last replacement they updated the motor so this doesn't happen anymore, I would pursue this!
