i am having a issue with a squeaky leaf, not because of the dirt or sand, but because the leafs are hitting the safety bracket used to keep the leafs in line. i did an AAL on my truck and the 3 leaf is cockeyed. i took it to the dealer and thats what they told me. they told me that i could tap it back in place or they could put in blocks. i told them no to the blocks naturally. so i went home a tapped them back in place. no more squeak!!! now one month later the squeak is back. the leaf has moved again. What should i do to secure the leaf in place, or what should i do period? any help would be great

They make a heavy duty wire tie that will with stand 175lbs. You might try that. I think it is moving because the center bolt may not be tight enough. Also retorque U bolts they will stretch.
Each leaf should also have a teflon seperator between them that keeps down noise.
