My 2009 Reg Cab had a squeak from the driver side rear leaf spring at about 10000 miles. The dealer said the springs needed some sort of lubricant between the leaves. That seemed to correct the problem until now. At about 30000 miles the problem has returned. When I take it in I am afraid they will repeat the same "fix" only to have it return later.

I live on a dirt road in rural Michigan so it probably sees more mud and dirt than a city truck, don't know if this a contributing factor or not.

Any help before the warranty runs out would be appreciated.

its the dirt and mud getting between ur leafs thats making it squeek
u can take the leaves off the truck and dissassemble them and clean and gease them up good and that should fix it
but dont take my word on that
mine squeek too and thats what i think will work but i havent got around to trying it yet

Thanks, if its just a matter of cleaning it up real good I can do that. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't a part going bad, which would really surprise me.

I think I'll have the dealer clean/lubricate it one more time, after that I can keep it clean. I have a power washer at home.

There is a squeak/slap TSB for rear suspension...Might be worth taking a look at to see if it applies to your rig.
