Lookin good! Can you get some night pics of the fogs? I am considering a set of these with the clip on amber covers.

What is the purpose of the amber/black fog lenses on the D2s?

All depends on the state, here in CA i could get ticketed for not having a cover on a Auxillary light.

Correct, most "covers" that come with lights are solid for this purpose. The amber lenses that Brett has though are not covers, rather the actual lens that protect the light. OK has the option to get them with amber (or whatever color) lens, or a cover that you can take on and off to quickly change between clear and whatever color.

Ah damn. Was not aware of that law. I'll be moving to CA next year so I'll keep that in mind

So a cover would be defined as something that cannot be seen through, like this Hella light on the right:

BS in my build thread? I'm not used to this...

I'll try to get some pics here soon James. It's snowing/raining right now so I don't know how good of a picture I can get.

And James is right. The lights are OKLED's 6 light 3x3s. The ones he linked. And I did go ahead and replace the entire lens, not gonna bother with the covers.

Went out to try to find some snow and fall colors. Got a couple quick pics and a little video. Probably a few days away from the best color. Might be just a little too late next weekend. Also remembered how unimpressive my BFGs are in the mud.

Oh, and this trail is only like 10 minutes from downtown Steamboat :D

I've got them aimed quite low, but they fill in everything below the headlights very nicely.

Been testing out the fog lights in the recent snow we've been having. Gotta say I'm really pleased with them, and the amber really does create a better constast on the white roads.

Oh, and just ordered a full OME suspension kit and $350 worth of front end rebuild parts.

    For my 1990 Montero...

So far, I'm loving it. Need to do a little tinkering, and familiarize myself with it a little more, but for the little bit I've played with it its been great!

And this is what my truck looks like after a weekend Elk hunting. I hate mud:

That's an excellent spot for it. I agree, these things are great! So many options for gauges and customization to your specific vehicle. How can someone hate mud?

Just replaced my windshield wipers for the 3,948th time after owning the truck for just over a year and a half. I think its something about the dry air, combined with all the ice and snow that kills them really quick here in Colorado. Usually I opt for the cheap ones, but this time I picked up a set of Rainx Latitude's. Hopefully they work a little better.

Also have a Fumoto oil drain valve headed my way. Need to change my oild this weekend so I'll be able to put that on.

Also, somehow some Polk DB1001 tweeters found their way on my Amazon order.... It'll be nice to hook them up to the amp and ditch the rattlly, old stock ones.
