And last post for the day. Time to eat dinner and drink beer. Found a rad campsite, the view would be amazing if it wasn't for the smoke. Hoping for an epic smokey sunset though.

    20210708_193820.jpg

Clear as far as I rode, which was a half mile past where I took those pics. Heading east tomorrow to meet up with @Night Eagle and another buddy for a day or two, but might be back to this part of the state later. I do like the rocky chunk, but that climb was a bitch! Shoot over those trail recommendations!

I mean, I took a shower on Monday.

Awesome bumping into you and getting that ride in @harbs89

Hopefully I make it back to that part of the state, I certainly have more exploring to do over there.

I know you're supposed to swipe but I don't know which way.
Nothing I did would get rid of it anyway.

Smokey sunset only kinda happened a few nights ago. That campsite was one of the best of the trip.

Then headed to Bozeman to meet @Night Eagle and another buddy for a quick visit. Since then I've been explore the area and hiking in circles looking for golden trout with very minor success. The smokes been a bummer, afraid that's going to be the case a lot of the summer.

Another Selfie just for you @teamhypoxia

For the smoke: I recommend wearing a buff when you bike. I did during a very smoky ride last summer in Breck and I felt fine, while the girlfriend was hacking up her lungs for the next week.

For Gaia, let me know if you want some pro tips on getting more layers and data on your map...

I'm pretty comfortable with Gaia, but certainly not an expert.

Being I don't plan ahead, I downloaded most of the western US before my trip (and again on the new phone). Therefore I didn't want to download multiple different layers for each area.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
It was good to meet up for the night. Wish we could stayed a little longer. Oh well I will see you in about a month in Wyoming.

This place was awesome, and took some proper 4 low time to get there.

And then big thanks to @Blackdawg for help with the oil change, tire rotation, questionable alignment, wiring repair, and providing a much needed shower.

That's just a pretty, little Yellowstone cutt. Search for Goldens will be in a few days still.

I was certainly stoked to reel it in. Caught over a dozen like that. Biggest was probably about 14". Day hike didn't give me enough time to fish, need to backpack in next time.
