Ah jeez, now I'm going to go back and look at the MVUMs...

 

I've been getting worse about taking pictures, so here's a very random batch from the last couple weeks. Hopefully @Reh5108 can add some more.

Currently back home for the first time in over 12 weeks for @Night Eagle s wedding, congrats dude, but will probably be back on the road in a few days.

Oh I landed one a while ago, but brett struck out.

Doing a PNW hot lap. Think I just found the best view of the trip thus far. Solid downhill too.

 

really cleared up in the last day or so. Been beautiful. No smoke finally.

Your up in Cascades? Trail looks familiar.

 

That's the Cascades. Most likely a view of the Enchantments. I am told there are some hella hikes back in there. No motorized traffic allowed.

 

Monte doesn't consider those real mountains because the peaks are only ~7,000'.

 

Maybe it was the constant rain when I got here...

Is this one tall enough? Pic from my current campsite. There's an even taller one I'm hoping to get a pic of if the clouds clear.

Damn you clouds. This view would be epic. There's a 10k+ mountain hiding there somewhere.

It's the vertical that matters. But I'll agree with Monte, there are few mountains in Idaho so no reason to go there...

I really enjoy the style of planning Brett and I do, none! Wake up in the morning look at a topo map and decide what looks interesting. If something interesting comes up along the way we go for it. No timelines to be anywhere or how long to stay in any specific place. We have stumble across some pretty incredible places that are glossed over by most.
