I have an issue with the rear suspension on my 2016 Tacoma (TRD Off-road). With even the slightest movement, a creaking/squeaking noise comes from my rear left and right suspension. It started shortly after I took it off road. The same issue came up with my brother's f-150, but it went away after he washed the under side of his truck. I did the same, but the squeaking started up again the very next day. Does anyone know of a way that I can fix this issue without taking it to the dealership?

I sprayed my leaf springs with some lithium grease. Right at the clamp location. I have a 2013, not sure if that helps any.

A squeaky rear is how you know a Tacoma is near.

I recently greased it up, but it almost seemed to make the issue worse. I'm sure I must be missing something.

U bolts are fine and not the spare tire. Definitely coming from the leafs. I just climbed under and was pushing the bed up and down and listening to it. Sounds like a squeaky bed.

May have to take it in. Dealership replaced mine.
This helped when I went in the first time.
That was also making a noise. Took me forever to figure out what it was.

Well my 2016 SR started squeaking and I took it in and had them check it out and they ordered new leafs and u bolts and a few days later I took it in and they swapped them out for me with no questions asked. Dropped it off the day before and they gave me a brand new 2016 Highlander to drive for a day and they did the leaf exchange the next day and I picked it up after work!

OP post a video of the squeaking, my 2015 has a problem that sounds very similar, which ended up in a buyback from Toyota.

Edit: they replaced my leafs several times and it still could not be solved.
