A week in and I've got a heavy dose squeaking in my rear suspension. Is this a common thing? I'm wondering if it's just mud or something, or I should get it looked at. Figured I'd check here with folks before making the trek to the dealership.

Turn the left hand knob on your radio clockwise until the noise stops :)

Seriously, you probably have mud or grit between the leaves. A trip through the carwash or a large puddle will help. The other alternative is you broke something, crawl under and check.
