Ok, so I have a 2008 TRD Sport tacoma, and the rear suspension is squeaky. When ever i hit the gas or come to a stop the rear suspension is very loud and annoying. I brought it in and they said it was fixed, and should be good to go. But its not, i don't know if they just greased it up or anything, but it has been raining a lot and its squeaking again. any ideas on what it could be?

I had a rattle that turned out to be in the suspension leafs. After visits to the dealer, they put in new shocks. Nah, didn't work. After contact the regional service tech, he drove it and found it in the suspension. He greased the leafs and put in heavier duty shocks. That did it. It's better and quieter. Perhaps HD shocks????

Yeah, thats what i've been thinking, i'm taking it into the dealer again tomorrow. If the problem is not solved by then i'm gonna try and aim for the HD shocks and some sort of lift, perhaps Tuff Country or Rancho. Thanks for the info.

btw, would the HD shocks be covered by warranty, or would i have to pay extra for them?

yeah, i weigh about the same, i'm not sure what it is but i've been looking it up and i've been under my truck a few times looking for the squeak. They told me it was the TSB, but they replaced it and then a week later, sure enough it squeaks again. so i'm gonna take Robbie's advice and do the HD shocks and see if that helps. if not i'm just gonna redo all the leaf springs and what not.

It's the bushings in the leaves. They must have greased them when you took it in. It's not the shocks.

even though, the grease shouldn't come off with in 3 days of getting it back. well its in the shop now, so i'm not to worried about it for now, if it keeps happening, i'm just going to get a lift kit that replaces all that.

I had a bolt that was in the metal Peace that raps around your leaf springs rubbing on the upper leaf . Its the band that has a hole that your brake line goes threw. they pried it open when they did my lift so I had to pry it open a little so it did not hit any more.
