I have a high pitched whistle that I start hearing around 45-55 mph. I have pressed on the windshield (heard this may help) with no change in the sound. It sounds like its coming from the front of the truck and it air flow related. Any hints? Thanks in advance

Try looking for anything in the body work that isn't in place the way it should be. Could be something bigger like a gap in the plastic molding at the base of the windshield, or something smaller like the rubber gasket around the door. Something else to think about is that sound can get tricky in a small cabin like the Tacoma's. You might hear the noise coming from in front of you when the source is behind you. Have you checked to make sure the small backseat windows are latched down?

    I hope this helps.

I have a fairly low pitched whistle that I believe is coming from my deck plate... at least that's what I think. I just heard it after I did the mod. Do you have a deck plate?

there is problably a hole or a leak in the molding around your windshield or one of the windows. also some wiper blades can make a whistling sound because of the holes in the design of them.
