I had been driving for about two hours from Lake Tahoe when I noticed a belt was definitely making some noise periodically throughout my drive. Once I got home and ever since then I haven’t noticed it. It’s weird because all my belts and pulleys are in relatively good shape and I just replaced the water pump/timing belt about 10k ago. Could it involve the AC? This was on the 5th, and like I said haven’t heard it since so I guess I’m not too worried. Anything helps thanks.

It could be your AC idler pulley. I replaced mine and it still makes a little squeeling/chirping sound every now and then.

    Try tightening the belt.
When mine were a little loose they would squeal at times in cold winter weather.
