I've seen on here people complaining of squeeky leafs but nothing on front end. I have 09 trd 34000miles. when I bought it, it squeeked like crazy from front driver side wheel/strut/coil area. Dealership replaced both front struts and problem went away. 2000 miles later its back. Does anyone have some advise or info for me.

One thing ive noticed (Im not good with vehicle knowledge) is rubber cork lookin thing is floating on top of strut and not packed down where it looks like it belongs. or like other strut is that doesnt squeek. would there be something causing this and not the struts fault.

I put new OME shocks on mine and they started squeaking. It was the top shock center "bolt" rubbing on the hole it goes through. Shoot some oil on it and see if it goes away.

Thx for the reply. Took it to dealership for the 2nd time. 1st supposedly changed both struts and top bushing on the squeaky one. Pickin it up today and they replaced lower bushing. we will see i guess. I f@#$ing hate dealing with those people. No off to anyone on here.

I just recently picked up a wee squeak in my 2nd gen, but at 25K miles, its just the squealer plates letting me know to budget in new ceramic disc brake pads on my next maintenance day :)
