Hi Tacoma owners. My truck is in the shop for a few things including my horribly squeeky leaf springs, I've complained about it for the last 3 services and they've given me grease in the leafs, which was basically no help.

This time they said they want to send a video to Toyota of it making noise however I got a call saying trucks ready for pickup! I said I don't want it back until it has new leafs... This time they said they put spacers in the leafs which is the official Toyota fix, he said its a TSB. Is this legit guys and is it going to fix it long term? Seriously loud squeeking for a year old truck.

Yup that's the fix for now. There is a thread on it in the sticky's.

What did your searching on the forum reveal on the topic?

Memory says it's very common problem over many years. 'New' won't fix it for long.

Spacers are a solution. How long they work depends on the material quality I suppose. Assuming that's the main squeak point.

There are several threads with good solutions, should you find a need for some DIY.
