    Hey all,

When I hit a deep puddle or do a water crossing (nothing gnarly) I get a high pitched squeel / squeek from the engine area. It lasts only a few seconds. I think it's a belt but I'm not sure. Any ideas?

Yep, most likely a belt squealing. When was the last time you replaced the belts or checked tension? Could be that one of your belts is a little loose - when the water makes it a bit more slippery, the pulley turning the belt spins a bit and you're hearing that rubber on metal squeal.

Either that or the squirrels in your motor are screaming in terror.
