Thanks Rick! I have looked into your area as well. I am actually begun the process of ETS'ing from the Army and I am looking at work as well as school there. I am a OH-58D pilot with an intel background, and am looking for work in those areas. You said you were a civil service employee? Do you know if there are many intel/aviation civilians working on Oahu? I am really open to all the islands, but my wife is working on her CPA license and I figured Oahu would have the best job opportunities for both of us. Thanks for your help and look forward to meeting up with some Taco owners!

Bro...I missed your question ..sorry.. You will def benefit with having a fuse box add-on if you plan on adding anything electrical/lighting... Tap off the battery and one to ground...:) Then just plug whateva you need!

Mounted a 50" Radius LED bar today. My TW brothers Bullaculla and Luka did a hell of a job fabbing and wiring. The light bar brackets were modded by Bullaculla by creating a 10 degree swivel point with a set screw adjustment utilizing and modding the existing hardware. Nylon bushings were inserted in the channels so that once the bar was mounted there would be no compression on the rubber roof rail as well. The light bar brackets then had to be bent near the mount points to accommodate a better fitment. It came out outstanding!

Wired the lights together (connection) right off the bar to a longer cable going down the window channel and into the engine compartment to the fuse box... Recommend you sheath the wires well
and I also used a mesh wire cover over the rubber wires so it looks professional...:D

    DSC00891_zps2f7b272a_2293d74aa6db57ac4fbbddff164b07d2e9eff3cf.jpg

Wiring was placed in the channel along the window and fit like a glove. Placed a few beads of black silicone along the channel to hold the wire in place...

    DSC00887_zps38f69c15_39cba5d6a4a3df09a75942939ee4f6902121ebe2.jpg

Finished product! I highly recommend a cover like I used by taking some surfboard/kayak pads and removing the foam and then velcro'ing the canvas around the light bar when not in use.
Main reason: The bar will howl/resonate when subjected to high winds making a high pitch sound. The canvas cover eliminates that...:)
