    I just went from my 1998 T100 I've been driving for 17 years to a 2018 TRD OR DCLB. You want the long bed. Some of the technology can make your family-to-be safer while driving.

    I vote SR, wheels are a dime a dozen on Craigslist and get a bed rack from ROLA for your lumber needs.

    BUT, negotiate the savings into extra ammo and a new firearm or two or five, lol...

    You'll eventually want the long bed since you said you haul stuff. Pick something that has that.

    If you can still find an 2018 OFF Road you should be able to get 4k off MSRP, but a dclb may be a little harder to find, at least they are in my area.

    I almost pulled the trigger on an OR short bed and a competing dealer had a LB and matched the price. I’m sooooo glad I didn’t get the short bed. It’s amazing how fast the bed fills up when you’re headed out camping. But you’ll need those Trd OR goodies when it’s time to turn that limo around on a dead end fire road.
