Yes!! They should at a minimum retrofit the missing/lesser items. The e-brochure pic I posted states the differences

And if not the price difference and then make them add some just to keep me from making a lawsuit which, I don't wanna do but I also don't want to just give money away

Following. Don't back down They lied and I would imagine makes your contract invalid. Anyone else have any ideas as to how valid his contract to buy is?

I would not back down or accept a lame offer from them. Investigate your rights. Maybe they should give you an amazing deal on a new 19.

I didn't think about an invalid contract. That's a good way to see it. Well for my side anyways.

    how much did you pay?

I have an SR but ive added all the elements of the SR5 minus the alloy wheels.

I think your best bet is to have the dealer install the intermittent wipers, fog light stalk, fog light wiring harness, fog lights with bezel,

Right under 30k, it's really not a big deal to upgrade because I'd upgrade even with the SR5, but it's more the principal that I paid for one thing and was given another.

They dont really give deals for lightly used tacomas infact i found them to be more expensive than the new ones. So while you may think you are owed money in reality you arnt. but they did screw up the trim and should answer for that

I mean there's about a 3k difference in SR and SR5 regardless of used or new. I was sold an SR while being told it was an sr5. I could claim it as fraud and put a lawsuit in their hands or could just simply get what I paid for. I get I didn't pay an outrageous amount but a deal was for that model and I was given a different model. I'm not trying to just get free shit but I would like what was agreed at the absolute minimum. Although I won't settle for minimum, they wouldn't settle on minimum from us the buyers, why should we when they screw up.

Underworld Flex trifold, tinted, TRDPRO grill, TRDPRO shift knob, etc,etc

I have an SR5 4WD all decked out with off road tires & all from the dealer that I got it from, and when they solicit me for a trade-in, they have it listed as an TRD-OR!

If I wanted to trade it in, that’s probably how they would sell it minus the OR crawl control, which technically didn’t exist in 2nd gen TRD-OR.

So technically, they can probably call it a TRD-OR, which is a better trade-in bottom line for them, of course.

    Hope that helps

    Cheers!

OP..get em. Give em hell. All about principle. I'd be pissed off as shit.

Though they could always argue that you signed..you knew what you were getting..I have a feeling they may pull that card.
If so,go above all of them. You definitely have a right to state that you were sold the wrong truck and have them make it correct, whatever that may mean. Let us know how it goes tomorrow

Does your paperwork say you bought a SR5 or SR?

If the salesman was wrong about the model type, then it’s one thing.... but If your paperwork says SR5.. then you can mother fuck them.

The fine written details are what matter.
    Verbal “facts” mean shit.
