I'm starting to regret not having a few extra features on my SR. Namely having Fog Lights, BSM, and a forward camera.

Nearby dealership has a pro for cheap because it's been on the lot 70 days.

They're offering me $32k on my truck

The 2022 pro is a lease return for $40k.

Tips convincing the wife this deal is worth it?

Im just a mall crawler. Daily commute and Home Depot runs after work.

Might give me an excuse to get out more though

Ok. Why do you need BSM? You have 3 mirrors. Next time at the mall, back into the parking spot. The rest can be added

BSM would be nice as I have a bad neck and even with my driver mirror modified there's a lot of assholes on my daily commute that like to treat the highway as a nascar track

I think you’re getting more than $8,000 more truck with the pro vs the SR. The list is long and I’d upgrade. That’s just me though

$32k for your truck is a joke... People like what they like, if you want a PRO for not the typical reasons people want a PRO, do it, but don't accept $32k for your truck.

    This is the thread I was looking into for that;

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/nitoris-oem-sr-foglight-mod.451495/#post-13247956

It's on my list of things I wanted to get done next, had the SW column off and it looks like I have the 10 wire configuration even though I have a v6. I actually already bought the W/H just need the terminal (and the actual lights)

Could these be had for less than $10k?

I used to want a Pro, now I'm glad I got the SR. It's the closest to an old-school 4x4 pickup, no frills, made for utility. I am now a fan of no fender-flares, it gives my 0 offset wheels an even wider looking stance and the knobby tires look fatter without flares. Fogs can be added: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/nitoris-oem-sr-foglight-mod.451495/

Absolutely - I don't know about the BSM though, I've pulled the mirror off my buddy's Rav4 to try it out but it honestly wasn't much different then what I did to my stock side mirror already. I need to do more research on the forward camera mods though, atm I'm using an old iPhone connected to a spare cheap Chinese dash am via Bluetooth. I might do the same for a bsm alternative

Bsm is way more involved, and if your rear bumpers caps are chrome you will have to swap those as well.

No clue what your finances or obligations are, just an obvious thought. Hope whatever you choose is a “heck yes” for you!

With the help of PuppyPunter you can install OEM LEDS headlights on your SR. If you are mainly mall-crawling then the items like push-button-start and doors that unlock for you ... just more things to break. You can buy Rav4 mirrors to install that have wide-view sections. In short, TW members can do about anything you need done ... even advise rear differential electronic locks.

They're white. I'm gunna guess a new bumper, sonars, left and right ECU, the wire harness, and program the bsm?

It’s “only $10,000” if he has paid off his truck.
