Does this set up come with skid plates from the factory? Has anyone ever owned an sr5 wishing they had gone sport or OR after something got poked underneath? I don't plan to off road, but I do hunt and will be on dirt and gravel roads in the fall, with the occasion of driving through a harvested rice field to set up decoys. I've heard the stock skids are crap but something has to be better than nothing, right?

I believe you get the same protection for either truck. I know my SR5 came with a skid in the front.

If I were to do it again, I might would opt for the OR just for the locker. The craw control might be nice, but the locker is the only thing I'll want. I'll probably add an ARB in the future.

The stock skids are worse than crap. I hit a rock with mine going about 1mph and the whole thing folded. I replaced it with a Relentless Fab aluminum skid which is way beefier. Even if you don't off road it you still want that area to be well protected- there's a lot of important stuff up there.
