How long did your SR5 Dunlop's last? I heard people saying they only last about 20k miles, some say less. Your experience?

30k miles and they still had a decent amount of tread left. I swapped them out because they were horrible tires and the traction was awful.

If I had a second set of winter tires, I would have run the Dunlops for another 10k miles but I was heading into winter in New England and wasn't going to risk it.

What Coopers are you thinking about going with? I've had a few sets of Coopers in the past.

My dunlops were at the indicators at 55,000 miles. They lasted so long b/c it was 95% highway.

If you offroad, or hit dirt roads with a lot of rocks and pebbles, then you'll probably expect no more than 20,000 miles out of them. I drove on a fireroad with my dunlops for less than 2 miles, and when I parked I can see the small rocks were already cutting into the rubber.

Edit: If you have the pockets, change out the tires ASAP. The stock dunlops were designed with MPGS in mind, ergo, no grip in rain or dirt.

I got about 30k out of mine and they were completely shot at that point. My truck was a nightmare in the rain and snow with the stock dunflops.

I'm at 40K on my truck right now with the stock tires. I live on a dirt road and drive a lot of state highways.

They didn't do that badly for me on pavement and some light snow, and they weren't even that awful off-road. However, even mild off-roading causes the Dunflops to shred.

Those had about 25,000 on them before I switched out to the Goodyear Wrangler Authorities.

I've put almost 20,000 miles on mine and just got caught in a heavy rain the other day...I was all over the road. Scared the crap out of me with my two year old in the back. They are just about the worst tire I've had. I'm getting nervous about the winter so I'm thinking they are going to get trashed soon.
