I have been working on mine. I just cut the emblem surround out of it and popped the emblem on. I'm going to put some mesh behind it and repaint the grill

    Nice!

Would love to know the tool(s) you used to remove the original center Toyota symbol...? Also how are you mounting the "TOYOTA"? I was +/- putting mesh as well but am leaning towards it as way to mount the raptor lights.

Overall I think this a better looking & cheaper alternative to the TRD Pro Grill.

I used a drimel tool and a small back saw blade. I smoothes all the cuts with some sandpaper. The saw blade makes less of a mess because the drimel tool melts the plastic some. The Toyota emblem comes with little clips on the back. I will drill the holes close in the size and glue it on.

Awesome, thanks for the tips. What mesh are you going to go with?

I need to paint the grill. It's been too cold so it's on hold for the moment.

got an SR-5 insert yesterday and gonna be starting on this same mod pretty soon. I think I'm gonna go with a custom car grills mesh, just trying to decide if I want to pay for precut or not.

Does any one know if an sr5 front grill can be used to replace the 2017 grill on the tac sport. I was just going to paint mine black, but if the sr5 black would fit I would prefer doing that.
    Thanks!
