Agreed. I believe Rav4 at one point had 4 cyl and 6 cyl options
    4 Runner and V8 and V6 options.

Options is a good thing for the consumer.

I think the locker is most useful capability the OR offers that would cost a lot to add to an SR5 but not really necessary unless you're really trying to get your truck stuck

    Thank you.

I am not offloading in Borreggo Springs these days with family commitments. Thus our truck is used in Sand/Mud at the farm, and if SR5 4x4 DC can do what I need, I don't need to spend the money on the PRO/OR

Yes my truck sticker was about 39,800. I got it out the door for 39500 after taxes and everything.

You said there will be a 2017 SR5 4x4 in manual. I hadn't seen that reported before. Do you know it's true? Is that with the V6?

I sure hope they do it because the leap from SR to TRD Sport is kind of ridiculous. No middle ground there.

Appreciate the offer will ride this one out a few years then change out once equity builds and hope by then glitches have been fixed or better options offered

Awesome looking truck! Im assuming the appearance package gets you the fender flares? Also what type of lift is that?

Not sure how I missed the SR5 thread, a little late to the show but here`s a re-post of a few pics from another thread.

Here it is on the first day I brought it home.

Nice. I bought this same model in Barcelona Red. Even have those same wheels. I had my heart set on a TRD off road but what i really just wanted was a 4x4. I found an sr5 with 4x4 for such a great price, with my fj trade in, i got it for less than 20k. I figured since i saved a ton on the truck, I can use that to make any mods that i want. Dont regret one bit going with sr5.

Is there a way to upgrade stereo, the one with navigation from a TRD, into the sr5? That's the only thing holding me back from saving some major $ by going sr5
