:facepalm:Where the hell is that damn triple face palm...

You had me interested... I've never looked into it so I wasn't sure if there was a place that could inspect your vehicle and legally increase your GCWR. I'm good with my aftermarket Class III and 4-pin connector.

Someone actually posted a picture of a Tacoma and a 5th wheel travel trailer! Pretty damn scary what some people do with their trucks...

Surprisingly I have seen a tacoma with one before...except it was a 5th wheel. It was a 2nd gen long bed towing a 5th wheel travel trailer.

This wasn't as bad as the 2nd gen prerunner I saw down in FL that was towing a 6X10 enclosed trailer while being flat towed behind an RV

    The jumbo pack.

Why do hot dogs come in packages of 10 while buns come in packages of 8?

How many hot dogs can one tow behind a tacoma safely?

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Oh the irony, Mr. Ignorance. How exactly did you "prove that the structure is mechanically capable." ? Test results? What kind of test? Long term testing? Was the structure examine through x-ray for stress cracks?

The problem I have with you (and I'm not the only one) is that you continually prove yourself to be incompetent and contradictory.

This is total bullshit.A manufacturer only has to "cover their ass" to the stated capacity. They couldn't give a shit less what the GCWR of a vehicle is since any given aftermarket hitch will probably fit more than one make or model vehicle.

Stop buying the cheap Oscar Mayer ten packs and get decent dogs that come in packages of eight.
