True. But they have me a set amount of mileage for my lease...I think 30k or something. I haven't had it for a year yet and I'm just about 20k. If I want to trade it in. There is a cost for every mile over. I'll try going in after the first year and see if they are generous if not I'll suck it up. I love the truck as is and want to keep it. So I'm not completely miserable.

I'm still trying to figure out if you do any serious offroading or not so I can figure out if you actually know what you're talking about. Mostly all I see from you is smartass comments.

The dealer should treat it the same as any other traded vehicle. The "payoff" on the lease is just like the payoff on a traditional loan. I just went through the same thing. Traded a leased 2014 for a leased 2015.

Personally I have no reservations about modding a leased vehicle. I plan to make a few small changes to my 2015, but they will all be simple bolt-on type things that I could easily remove if I decide to turn it it.

By the time your lease is up, your credit won't (shouldn't) be as crappy. Giving you better options. Lower interest = lower payments. Stuff like that. But don't go effin your credit up either.

The Baja suspension is actually pretty badass. I've driven it and offroaded it quite a bit. 15,000 miles onroad and offroad with 265/75/16's. Offroad in Colorado, Utah and Nevada. Climbing and descending tough rocky roads, highspeed desert roads. Uphill and downhill highspeed through washboards on hairpin turns. Pulling a trailer and taking the trailer offroad on some nasty roads.

I put the Baja suspension through the paces, unlike many on this board and it is badass. I actually know about the Baja suspension, you don't, so STFU.

2005 Tundra is a better truck. Thank goodness the Tacoma had such good resale value. I got two years out of the Tacoma and 30,000 miles for about $5000.

110k miles on the 2005 Tundra when I bought it but it's so much smoother and refined and just as good offroad.

I may have some more wisdom, but I wonder if you would understand it. You seem to be locked into what's known as the 'prevailing wisdom'.

Wow, do you and OZ PM each other to coordinate your posts? I admire your recall of each of my assertions over a two year period. That's pretty badass impressive.

Stop, you're making me blush. Unfortunately, I've seen so many people on this board that don't really offroad brag about their suspension systems I have to laugh. There was one guy bragging about his King suspension and it turns out he didn't even know how to get his 2012 truck into 4LO. The truck was beeping and the 4LO light blinking, but of course you and OZ saw it, you read every thread.

You and OZ are cute, funny, and prolific posters, but I do wonder if you really know about trucks.
