Hey Mike, sorry it's been a while but I'm here to share my experiences so far as well. Congrats on the truck, looking good man.

Mike's photos are very color accurate. The photo's of the army green trucks on Toyota's website are plain wrong, they've added too much red into the post-processing. The thumbnail they use in the color selector is accurate however, just much darker than it is on the actual truck. Here is the color sampled from the swatch on Toyota's website:

For anyone curious it's a true dark green that is just de-saturated, as you can see above the RGB value has matching values of 42 for red and blue. OD green has a much higher red value than blue which gives it it's more yellowish / olive tint.

There's also metal spacers as well that go on the deck rail screws and D-ring screws. I just removed mine a couple days ago as I need the bed space for work. They're in mint condition and I can sell them for cheaper than dealer if anyone is interested and I can get a shipping rate that works.

Removal was very easy, using an impact driver, T30 torx bit and a 6" hex extension for one screw hidden inside each box. Remove deck rails, remove D rings, remove inside screw, take out the boxes, replace all screws minus the spacers.

Also, how did you get hooked up with turn signal mirrors? Good shit! Do they have blind spot monitoring as well? Every config I ran through says those aren't available on Trail package.

Hey bro, thanks for all the helpful info!!! And honestly I don’t know why my truck has the turn signal mirrors lol looks like my truck has the tech package so maybe that option got me the turn signal mirrors and the blind spot monitoring. I was under the assumption that all the trail packages where built to the same speck but I must have been wrong and got lucky. 1A4C48F8-17FD-4CA7-84F3-7E0A44F6C967.jpg

Hey so I got a set of the boxes and am trying to install it on my truck.
Where did the 8 random spacers go? I feel like they go with the rails, but can’t figure the position!
Also how was the buildup for the d ring?

    Thanks!

In photos I like it, but in person it's alright. Spruce mica is hands down the best green. I do like the voodoo blue on the 4 runner, but not the tundra
