By any chance are you referring to mine?

In other news, I decided to go with the SR5.
    I've
always planned on building whatever taco I get up using aftermarket parts...partially for the control of the setup, but also for adding that personal touch.

I have a trdor. The locker is awesome and I didn't have to pay out of pocket to have someone put it in. I really like the extra braking power it provides with the big booster. Crawl control (a-trac in my 2nd gen) is eh, I never use it but I do use the locker. I changed the suspension out with the lift so that didn't matter, changed the wheels too so those didn't matter. Although I was able to make up for a lot of the cost of tires/ wheels by selling the more desired offroad versions. I like the bed outlet, I use it camping all the time and will continue to do so. Resale on a trd will be better than an sr5 if you're interested than that. I know I have a second gen but my best friend has a 3rd gen and I like his truck for all the same reasons. The radio doesn't matter to me as I added a sub/speakers anyways. Overall it's your truck decide what you want and pick the one that fits your needs.

Thank god I got my OR for 31800. Good to know a manager at Toyota. I was leaning for the SR5 myself. Im not into the Sport, specially when I wanted Quicksand. The sport with all the painted shyt was to much quicksand. I was able to order my OR for such a great price, I just went with it. If I did not get that deal, I was going to get the sr5 and mod it.

I actually kind of like it.
What specifically do you use the AC outlet for when camping? I haven't found much use for it but originally thought it would be nice to have. It won't power my shop Vac...over 400watts unfortunately. Guess it might power a pump but cigarette lighter outlet will do that too

de-badged, tint front windows, led interior lights, door sill protectors, led b/up lights, 5" factory step rails, yellow turn signal bulbs, added 4 D ring tie downs. Took off the black vinyl stripes between the doors. Changed the grill - from Custom Car Grills, Finally got a tonneau cover put on. 31" light bar ( white & amber ), tailgate light bar, sunvisor covers ( to hide warning labels ), new bedside decals - still too cold to put them on tho. Flag decals to go on too, again too cold still. Got a 2 switch, switch plate to replace that useless cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel.. still to be installed ( hopefully this weekend ). Upgraded the tires to G/Y Duratracs... loving them, no plowing the driveway !!
I went with the 4x4 sport dcsb with upgrades. traded in my 2012 ac base model. Much happier with the 16 sport. 2016.jpg

Thanks, I'm loving it. I also have no transmission problems as I went with the 6sp M/T. My 2012 was a pos A/T. So happy to be back in a M/T.

I use it to run an electric skillet, blender, my snap on shop light, I once used it to run a heat gun to heat up my front bumper cover to push a dent out that I received while wheeling, phone chargers, etc

SR5 has the classic Toyota truck style. Reminds me of my old 96 4RUNNER Limited. The sport has a couple of upgrades , but the wheels are so ugly. I know you will replace them, but those 17s belong on a car from 2013. I am partial to a little bit of chrome , and think the extra body colored parts make the vehicle look like a lower end model.IMG_20160625_192600.jpg

Yea I really don't like the sports wheels. I love the sr5 and the OR wheels. And I like the simplicity of the SR5 grille. If If I'd buy an SR5 only things I'd really change up is add the led headlights, hid headlights/ fog lights, and add leather from the dealer. I need leather but not looking to spend over 40k to get it.

Leaves a little extra money in the budget every month for more mods!
