SR5 vs TRD Off Road acceleration

    If the SR5 is 2wd, it would be at least 250lb lighter than 4wd OR. Plus suspension softness greatly influence acceleration. OR has a trail oriented suspension that is softer than SR5. When you accelerate with softer suspension, some of the energy is spent to flex the suspension as the vehicle lunge forward. With a stiffer suspension, that energy is instead used to accelerate. There is a reason sports cars come with suspension stiff as a rock.
