I am wanting a DCSB 4x4 with tow package. I was thinking the TRD Sport but am struggling with the price. If I go with the SR5 was cool stuff will I lose? How much will I save? So many choices. 1st world problems.

. things you will lose are the scooped hood.. trd seats.. 17 in wheels and color matched grill and bumper.. those are the key differences

Personally if you really are wanting color matched things I would say go with sr5 and save the 3,800~ bucks
.. with the money you are saving.. could buy a hood ...and paint the rear..
If you are wanting the most out of your 4x4 look into the trd off road.. to get a rear locking diff

Along with what differences already said...
    Different shocks
    Power outlet in the bed
    Resale value probably higher

Sport has a sport-tuned suspension. The SR5 has the standard suspension. Since the Limited also has he standard suspension, I'm going to assume that it has a softer on-road ride.

The sunroof is not an option on the SR5.

    SR5 doesn't have Qi charging.

Inferno Sport has color-matched interior dash trim, while the Red and Quicksand SR5s have color-matched interior fabric.

I'd been deliberating between these two packages as well. The sunroof and the hoodscoop were enough to push me over the edge. I'm going Sport 4x2. Now to pick a color....

TRD Sport has the different seats, hood scoop, sport suspension, etc. There's quite a bit of difference.

Good information so far so to clarify yes a 2016 model since that is where I posted this question and an automatic transmission.

I think the trd and limited daytime running lights are LED and the SR5/SR are no LED.

It all depends on what you want. I'm in the same dilemma. Thing is that I want a manual and can only get a manual with the Trd. Also dial climate control is only available in Trd and limited.

For the TRD w/ automatic transmission it comes with keyless entry and push button start, but just keyless for manual trans. SR5 comes with keyless entry but not push button.

The dual climate control comes with the premium and tech upgrade package for the TRD w/other stuff.

$2,350 Premium & Tech (HH): Auto AC (dual climate), heated seats, parking sonar, blind spot monitor, auto headlamps, moonroof

Have to find a pic of SR5 and see if it has the bling lights or not. Hopefully not since I am considering getting one :)

Found it on page 7 only TRD, Sport and Limited have daisy lights :)

I got a SR5 with a convenience package and some extra options. I really had to go through line by line and see the difference between the SR5 plus options vs one of the TRD packages. I even got the color matched bumpers (whoohoo!?) and all the pretty trimmings. The only thing I lost was the TRD shocks and wheels. And that sticker. I was good with that.
There might of been some different add on options with the TRD package, but none that I cared about.
