hello I literally just made an account here and have been reading posts for hours now so I have a 2018 sr5 all stock. Totally love my truck I don’t off-road but go quading and fishing on weekends, I am upgrading my wheels from the stocks but idk what to go with. I need suggestions I would like to leave it stock height just something mean looking. New to all this so may be lost. Thanks in advance!

I’m happy with my method nv wheels. I like the 16” size. Tires much more affordable than bigger rim widths.

I think these are a reasonably priced wheel that would make your truck look “meaner” as you say you’re going for. Add 265 75 16 tires of your choice (falken wildpeak, hankook dynapro atm or ???) for around $500. Have them slapped together locally for $80 to $100 with your oem tpms sensors and you have a new setup for around a grand. Then could recoup some money selling stock sr5 wheels and tires.

So I was really interested in getting the American racing but after doing research I hear a lot of people saying they won’t fit on a stock sr5 or rubbing, idk too much about them but is there a way of checking? Don’t know much about bs or any of that really new to all this. Thanks for the help

I personally think the 16” SR5 wheels you already have are cool and match your truck nicely.

I'm keeping the stock wheels for winter use with studded tires permanently mounted. For 3 season use I'd like to go with a 16x8 wheel and 265/75/16 highway tires for my mall crawler.

If you're looking to ball out, you can't go wrong with some Volk Te37 Large PCD. Depending on where you go, these will set you back about $3k for the wheels and tires (BFG KO2's) another $1K. Here's mine on stock suspension:

That's sharp but I rarely go off-road so I'll run some smooth, quiet highway treads. I like the look of the wider, larger diameter tire on a cool wheel though!
