I'm doing a build on the website and its telling me hard tri fold cover is available for Sr5. Anyone have one on their Sr5? should i get an aftermarket one instead? $650 sounds reasonable for a hard tri fold compared to something like extang solid fold 2.0 which is like 750- 800

I've heard mixed reviews on the oem bed cover for the 16s. I'd go aftermarket if I were you. It likely won't cost you any more and you have WAY more options. I almost pulled the trigger on a BAK roll-x but ended up with a shell for camping. Those roll-x's are sweet!

You get a lot more function for your dollar with an aftermarket cover. For the same money you could get one thats a lot more waterproof, or one that supports a lot of weight on top, or one that folds COMPLETE open, or one that automatically retracts, etc. If you really like the tri-fold design, then the oem one is probably fine for you.

If it isn't now, I'm certain it will be soon. Worth waiting for IMO.
