They look good without fender flares.

100_9810.jpg Mine came with the "Appearance Package" which were the wheels. My understanding is that the fender flairs were standard on the SR5. I think the MSRP on mine was $31,680.

Edit...look below for a correction on the above statement.

Looks great! You don't need any flair. You drive the SR

That one at the dealership is an unusual build for the SR5. Maybe it’s just inventory now but seems like all the ones I’ve been looking at have upgraded wheels, fender flares, and a power slide window. Looking at it the only visual difference from an SR is the steering wheel and maybe a bigger screen?

Apparently, the flares and wheels are still an option on the SR5's with the 4 cylinder.

One of the "options" I luckily avoided was the $699 Toyoguard...which in essence does nothing for the consumer. The only dealer that had the truck I wanted was also the only dealer in my area that doesn't put that useless option on their vehicles. And yes I still get the two oil changes and four tire rotations. My vehicle also didn't come with floor mats...and I got those for $100. The vehicle in question also has a few other crappy options that jack up the price.

No...I have the 2.7L 4 and my flairs were standard.

    OK...CORRECTION....
Mine (SR5 2.7L) has the "Appearance Package L4, which includes the Gray alloy wheels and color-keyed Overfenders....$685. That was the only option on my vehicle. The MSRP is $31,280 (29,380 plus 685 plus 1,215 delivery)

Standard on your truck, an option from the factory (apparently).
Ah, nevermind. You edited before I posted.

What is disappointing is that if you get the SR5 but not the V6, then you don't get the power drivers seat, the trailer hitch, the auto rear view mirror, and no power rear sliding window. When I realized that my vehicle didn't have the power seat I almost walked. But now that I have my seat raised I don't need that option.

Not only are you correct, but in my opinion that is the only worth-while option if you're getting the 4 cylinder. Everything else is over-priced stuff.

Since you have firsthand knowledge, what is the difference between the SR5 without any extra packages and an SR? Power seats, fog lights, leather steering wheel, larger screen, and different grill?

No power seats. But yes to the rest. 2.7 btw. And passenger vanity mirror possibly.

Do you still have your sticker? Did it say you have the appearance package? Oh...yours is a 2021....mine is a 2022. Looks like the grill is different than mine.

I do not have the appearance package. I believe that is fender flares and alloy wheels.

I guess the 4 banger could use all the weight reduction it can get....lol
My sr5 v6 came with the flares standard, i requested a lot of other stuff i wanted, and unfortunately came with stuff i didn't want. At any rate its been a good truck.

I agree with the weight reduction lol. The V6 was just outside my budget!
