Was wondering if anyone had one. Interested in the quality of it such as fit, finish, paint quality, etc.

They have some interesting things on there. Just haven't heard of them before. Only found out about them through Instagram a few days ago.

 

Ya me neither. I have seen there are quite a few vendors that sell stuff for 1st gens but I too have only heard or seen them on insta.

 

Not sure. But give me 3 months or so and I'll tell you haha. I plan on ordering sometime in October I hope. I mean for $265 shipped I can't complain.

 

If it is good quality, I can see myself paying the price. If you really honestly plan on buying one, post up your review.

You could just make your own and save some cash, it's not too difficult and there are plenty of threads on how to do it .

Like go check out this thread and the stuff this TW member sells on their site and compare it to the roof brackets the one you linked sells, besides adjustability they look exactly the same, even the slotting where the bend in the brackets are.

Hard to tell nowadays but most of these random popup people on Instagram are just selling shit they bought off another seller and carbon copied. Not saying that's 100% what's happening in this case, but maybe. idk, that alone would deter me from buying off someone.

 

I know the guy, very nice guy. I've heard very good things about them from customers and I've featured them on my page once or twice.

Check out ECG Fabrication. Their premade one is a little more expensive but they have an overall better product and if you don't mind doing some work yourself you can get just the insert and lettering if you want it. It's a pretty easy/simple project and I'm not all that handy of a person.

 

Do you have one? What makes it better?

 

Yes I have on it's in my profile pic. They use actual OEM parts from Toyota, not an eBay grill. The lead time is shorter. And it's way more customizable. Any type, any color, mesh, lettering, finish, you name it. It's also all powder coated
