SRS light is lit. No fail codes detected by a scanner. Garage has no idea. They listed 4 or 5 things that could be bad/broken.

Have you tried pulling the negative cable off the battery and letting it sit for a couple minutes and then reconnecting? Worth a shot.

Yes, i pulled the battery cables, cleaned them up and left them off for about 30 minutes. No joy.

Does the horn work? If not, it's probably the clockspring.

Know nothing about the 2nd gens, but had the same thing happen on my 1st gen and I had blown a fuse. Cant remember which fuse, but the truck showed no signs anywhere of anything else wrong.

Have checked all the fuses and none are blown. Horn works.
