    Just for safety sake. Anyone that doesn't know anything about the SRS Air Bag System DO NOT DO THIS unless you really know what you are doing.

    It is possible to set off the air bag and kill yourself with the impact. The air bags and seat belt actuators are explosive devices. If you are close to the steering wheel and set it off it could maim and or kill you. A multimeter set to measure resistance introduces voltage into the circuit, so it wouldn't matter if the battery is disconnected or not.
