SSO, I bought my bumper from a TW member used "new/uninstalled" how do I find out if it is included in the recall? It has a "checklist" date of 27OCT17, Thanx.

Any bumpers built in 2017 are not included in the recall.

I'm hoping aluminum is an option eventually, just to save on weight when I blow my money on this

the 2016 Tacoma model is the next one to receive the aluminum treatment. The time frame is still a few months out though. Many things to re -engineer.

Would also be interested in an aluminum option as weight is an issue with something that is a daily driver as well as weekend rig.

This is the bumper that I'm getting once the lift and tires go on!! And that customer service I've witnessed in this thread definitely sold me on the bumper!

You can opt for the access holes in the face of the bumper, or simply pop the hood to reach your solenoid to plug in. I'd suggest seeing about a wireless option if it's available for the winch you have. I know that Warn sells an accessory to turn any of their winches into a wireless line feed.

Thank you sir. Yeah I'll go wireless but I was more concerned with the free spool switch...

Do you guys have a tacoma world discount ?

I've been looking at this bumper for quite some time also and am definitely impressed with the great customer service!
Does anyone know if the hoop on this will affect the sensor in the grill on the 2018's? It looks pretty close to me.

    55 lbs.

There is no interference with the sensor in the grill with our bumper
