My dealer is going to do that recall on the grill sensor Wednesday morning and they said the grill has to be removed to do this. I know in the SSO install thread some said to leave the bumper loose till you get your grill reinstalled as it’s to tight afterward. I didn’t take mine off for the SSO install so I’m clueless as to how much room is needed. So my question is can the dealer get my grill off without loosing up my SSO bumper as I don’t want them messing with it.

I have the SSO Slimline Hybrid w/ bull bar installed too and am attempting to remove the grill. It doesn't look like there's enough room to get the lower tabs all the way out with the bull bar. Did you have to loosen the bumper to get the grill off after all?

Remove the 4 pop clips below the grille and you can slide the bumper forward and get the grille out.

I just switched to the faux pro grill last month without loosening the bumper, there’s enough room just have to be patient and remove from one end to another. Also tape the sides of the front body so it doesnt get scratched in the process, gook luck...

I should note that it's not just the grill I'm trying to remove, it's the entire housing that the grill mounts too. I'm attempting to to replace my headlights with the new Morimoto XBs I got.

I've already busted one of the tabs closest to me wrenching on it. I'm not confident that I'll be able to pull the rest of the middle ones out without breaking more.
