Does anyone know how much longer it should generally take?

My status said that almost 3 1/2 months ago. Still haven’t received mine and still hasn’t shipped as of this afternoon. Since it hasn’t shipped yet it’s going to be at 17 weeks and counting...

 

Ya i ordered min on 5/31, got the materials received email on 6/10 and as of today it is still in prelimary QC and next steps is powder coat.. which i am sure will take some time.

 

Oh wow. I guess the 6 week projection was a fantasy.

Well, they do look pretty awesome so it’s worth the wait I guess.

 

I feel lucky! I ordered mine on the 31st and I have had it for many weeks in my garage collecting dust!
Just waiting for my slimline to be finished! It’s in the grinding station portion of the build at the moment.

 

I just got my shipping confirmation today. Looks like I will be doing some cutting this weekend.

Did you have any odd customization requests? Does not make sense for yours to not be done...

 

No. Standard bumper with no bull bar and no light cut out. Just the winch opening.

 

That is crazy. I had one sent to me after about 6 weeks. Turned out to be the wrong bumper and had to be shipped back but the replacement just got picked up today. That happened about 2 weeks ago I believe. So 8ish weeks total.

 

Nothing makes sense with your order. 8 WEEKS !! They didn’t touch mine til week 9 and now I’m at week 13. Preliminary QC ? Told me that it should ship this week but I highly doubt it. But I am hoping I am wrong

Dang I’m jealous and even more pissed off. They didn’t even have the decency to call me or even email me to let me know what was going on. I have had to call or message them multiple times to find anything out. And now I’m obviously won’t get it until next week at the earliest. You think they would try to make up for it with something but no, not a peep from them other than after I contacted them last week they got back to me and said it would be shipped out either Monday (didn’t happen) or Wednesday. Will check tomorrow to see if it does ship. Some kind of discount or something would be nice to make up for this but I guess that is not how they do business. Have purchased and recommend many vendors through the years but can’t recommend these guys for their lack of communication, professionalism, and lies. All well. You live and learn I guess.

Will post a comment tomorrow if it doesn’t ship to let everyone know they have lied to me again.

 

I know. I am guessing they take all the orders and prioritize somehow based on the options that are selected. Like all the Baja Designs bumpers at once or something along those lines.

Yeah man I totally agree. We all knew when we purchased that it was custom fabrication and that it takes time and those times can vary but it does not take much to communicate well, ESPECIALLY when something goes wrong with an order. A quick email of "We apologize for the increased lead time but we want to make sure it is perfect so it will be another 2-4 weeks" goes a LONG way in business. The product is the best out there in my opinion so they could be unstoppable if they upped their game up in the customer service. I feel bad for others because I was treated very well through the whole process.
