How did you address the inner fender liner?

Today was the day! I got a text from the wife saying "what the f**k did you order that is so damned big??" Well, I guess I forgot to tell her I was expecting my SSO Stage 2 Hybrid bumper in FedEx! Now if only this crappy MI weather will cooperate so I can get some good temperatures and no rain for the install.

The install video instructions have detailed directions for cutting the inner liner.

For those who have installed this, how did you handle the wheelwell liners? Steaight cut as they suggest in the video leaves a very large opening where slush and shit can get up. Did anyone find a good way to close it back off?? I'm looking at some scraps of pond liner and a pile of zipties ......

@SouthernStyleOffRoad So I missed out on the group buy. Seeing all the orders that were placed on the group buy are your wait times extended due to the high volume of orders placed last month? If I placed an order now would the wait be longer than the average? Thanks for the help and sorry if it’s been asked.

I ordered the slimline bumper back in July prior to the group buy and mine is at QC right now, still needs to go to powder. Well past the 10-12 weeks already. I might be lucky if I get it by Christmas. I think they have too many orders and should be more honest with their lead times. I might have gone another route if I'd had known is was going to be so long.

I feel for you. Took 20 weeks to get mine. I definitely wouldn’t trust what they post on the website. I would call them direct to hopefully get an honest answer on lead times. I’m currently waiting for the stage 2.

I bought two of these a while back and haven't received them yet but they are almost done according to the emails... I will be selling one locally as soon as they arrive (not yet)
I ordered bare metal because that will result in faster delivery but I plan on having them powder coated locally.
I will not be shipping the bumper, this is for pick up only, I am in San Diego. Let me know if you are interested.
