The one who dies with the most stuff wins.
Really would like to add these but I don't want to remove the existing bumper to do so. With the winch it was a pain enough getting it on once. I have a 2018 bumper and I know it doesn't have the mounting holes already there. Has anyone had any success installing them without removing the bumper? What about just welding the wings to the existing bumper?

I was able to pull, add the stage 2 and reinstall the bumper/winch solo. You might be able to do it with out dropping the bumper but I think it would be a lot more work, especially if you had an extra hand.

Had the opportunity to do a stock "face off" and cash for a SSO Slimline Stage 2 with trimmed oem "face"...still haven't put the fender flares and clips and tape back on.

Of course my stock crash bar wouldn't just come off, it needed some "persuasion" and likewise getting the SSO on my horns required some extra elbow grease. I think I'll have a little bit more trimming on the drivers side for sure, passenger side not so much, but it's on and if anything I've maybe had 0.5mpg loss.

I'm on stock suspension, with Dobinsons Heavy Leaf Springs. Elka 2.5 DC resi front and rears arrive tomorrow, so I'm excited to get that upgrade installed.

sooo, i hit a tree offroading through a very tight corner. i didn't know what kind of damage i had done to my wing, but luckily all i had to do was loosen my bolts and readjust everything. Kinda lucky i suppose but this thing can handle a good hit! scuffing visible on the wing

Has anyone ran into the issue of the passenger side wing not lining up with the fender? I’ve seen the small gaps between the wing and the center slimline, but haven’t seen one that left close to an inch gap when the wing is pushed flush with the fender.

Gap when outer wing is flush with fender flare:1360345D-E0BF-4F8A-A3F1-EE72D1D95489.jpg
When the wing is held flush to the slimline, the wing sticks out past the fender flare:787E9C9F-70A6-4C02-AB9F-1D0EB2B9611C.jpg 57A625BA-4A54-423C-BFB6-7FC9A54FB2A3.jpg
Straight on with wing and slimline matched up:9A7E5B24-0608-408B-99E4-3D5AAFEDB327.jpg
The driver side lined up perfectly:28E50A5A-0E47-42A4-930B-CF0CC8DC6D3B.jpg

Has anyone put this stage two bumper on an SR? I don't have fender flares so I am wondering if the wings will stick out.

Was this an Armagedon kit or a prebuilt Stage 2 kit? Either way, it looks like that passenger side is wrong, either it shifted in the jig (if it's an actual stage 2) or whoever welded the Armagedon kit didn't fit it properly.

This is a pre-built stage two. I’m currently experimenting with thick washers as spacers in-between the wing and slimline. I’ve managed to get the gap down to about half an inch but it still seems excessive compared to the gaps seen in other posts.

After more cutting and use of several different washer thicknesses to shim the wing to the slimline I managed to close the gap significantly. Took 8 different washers but here’s how she sits now. 6FC5C534-4688-42B2-AB72-5E90B565253C.jpgDriver:56341B5A-942F-43E8-9AE6-3C3D17309CBD.jpg

No reason to cut off the fender liners and expose your fogs, wiring, etc. Just take a heat gun and reshape them. Looks factory and everything is still protected.5C84F806-6659-4DA4-BEDB-CBEBD6268DDD.jpg8570DDF3-56D1-4762-9663-103908C1D972.jpg

Has anyone welded on the stage 2 and skipped the drilling and tapping part? I feel a couple spot welds would be a lot easier but I’m wandering if you need the bolts for adjustment reasons after the bumper is on.

Man on man I wish I would have done this. I immediately regretted how much I cut once it was all installed.
