Kind of a side bar question, but anyone know what winches fit with this bumper?

I've seen the smittybilt x20 mounted in these. I bought one and still waiting on my bumper though.

I’m at 8 weeks in and love the way the order tracker says 5.57 weeks average shipping lol. I’m dreading the install so I’m not complaining about the wait. When did you order?

Did you reinforce after cutting at all? Might have to do this. Looks amazing!

I love my bumper and may get the stage two.

Random question, does anybody have any ideas ov preventing rubbing from the painted plastic on the bumper?
Mine had a few spots like this and it's causing small rust spots. I'm going to resand and paint, but want to stop from happening again.

I've watched a lot of bumper installs for similar products, so I feel pretty confident. Not sure about the stage 2 part yet though. It'll be hard to cut the bumper up like that. I will get through it though! I ordered on Feb 21st. My order tracker hasn't changed at all. I used their live chat on their website and they told me my metal was in house waiting to be cut and fabricated. I am expecting mine mid April based on the 8 week lead time I heard around the time I ordered. I don't plan to install mine until I get the stage 2 parts though. I bought mine unpainted. I plan to get the stage 2 unpainted as well, mount them at one time, fasten them together and then get them welded locally, cleaned up and painted. Then I will install as a unit.

really liking this Stage 2. Huge advantage I see is that it retains the factory fog lights in the stock bumper cover which for those of us with Pros means that we can retain the factory pro fog lights. This is the first bumper I've seen that allows you to retain the Pro rigid fog lights.

Have you had any of that work priced out yet? That is exactly what I will be doing instead of waiting for the single unit.

No not yet. I don’t have a shop picked out. I’ll start looking harder as it gets closer.

All chrome removed, TRD Pro grill, All-Pro Apex sliders, ARB twin compressor with Slee mount. SSO slimline bumper with Smittybilt X20, Softopper
I have the Smittybilt X20. Had to relocate the solenoid to the side. Trying to fit my hand between the bottom plate and mounting plate to reach the mounting bolts was the only problem. A very well made product with good back up by the manufacturer.

I fit a warn vr10s with the control pack still mounted on top with a slight bend to the bracket that sits above it. Wouldn’t have enough room for a zeon since it is .5 an inch taller without relocating the control pack.

    Thanks!
I didn't need to reinforce the bumper, its stable as is and the added clearance is nice. I built a winch mount that protects the radiator from road debris

They did say 6-8 weeks when I ordered and I’m at 8 weeks and still has to be powder coated, packaged and shipped so I’m guessing at least 3 more weeks. There order tracker says average of 5.57 weeks but I’d allow 3 months. I’m not complaining as I still have to buy a winch and there isn’t another bumper I liked near as well as this one. I’m on Vac at the end of May so I hope I have it by then.

Ya, that's not too bad. Their stuff seems very nice. This is most likely the bumper I will get simply because of cost. Even with the new design, it's still cheaper then the CBI. I'll have to get a 700# coil up front before I get a winch.
